'south folk'
(noun).
Individual or collective of individuals in tune with their roots in nature; the storytellers, the voyagers, the adventurers, and the ones born of water ~ the salty south folk.

These individuals have deep love & respect for mama earth & her glorious waters where our existence began, and are dedicated to a life in the elements; without leaving a mark.
South folk are all about the slow & simple things ~ time spent in & around the water, soul filling journeys down unpaved tracks, & kickin' back with mates watching the sun set over the ocean after a hard day of salty frolickin'.
Our Story.

Life started in the ocean, not in the concrete jungle ~ so it makes sense why time in nature has shown to seriously improve mental health. Even still, time in nature has really taken a back burner for a lot of people in our current society that's full of screens, concrete, and processed foods wrapped in plastic.

South Folk Collective is an environmentally conscious collective inspired by the wild within & around us, curated by Natalya Logvinskaia (marine biology graduate/all round ocean frother currently working in marine eco-tourism on the Ningaloo Reef, Western Australia) after s*** hit the fan in 2020, to spread a love for nature in a culture that's become so disconnected, for so many reasons.
"Our mission is to get people outdoors in nature, in the water, off the beaten track, and in their element (out in the elements), to inspire them to protect our mama Earth, and connect people to the core of their existence and feel genuinely stoked on life".

We aim to smash our mission through a number of ways, like providing sustainable goodies to inspire and help achieve all those epic adventures that are waiting to be had (available in our plastic packaging free online store, which donates a portion of all profits to a number of environmental groups), hosting peoples epic trips via our campervan hire (currently based out of Western Australia), as well as just generally spreading the stoke through imagery, info, and many other ways via our platforms (including our journal).

We're super excited to connect with you through our future endeavours that are quickly expanding, but for now, get out there, be kind, stay wild, and most of all,
